Dr Amir Samad
Dentist
Since graduating as a dentist in 2007, I’ve kept up my own professional development over time by completing multiple dental training courses. I like to offer my patients excellence in all aspects of dental care and keep myself up to date with the latest skills and technology. In 2015, I completed the FRACDS examinations and gained the Fellowship in General Practice.
I have a keen interest in restorative dentistry and have recently been improving my skills in the field of periodontics and implant dentistry by studying a Graduate Diploma of Dental Implantology at Charles Stuart University. Apart from applying my studies in the practice, I also enjoy teaching aspiring dental students. Up until recently, I was a clinical supervisor at the James Cook University School of Medicine and Dentistry and this gave me an incredible experience mentoring young students.
I can speak multiple languages such as Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and Pashto, to assist with anyone who feels more comfortable speaking their native tongue. When I’m not in the dental practice you’ll find me playing or watching cricket, and spending time with my family.
